Wedding Photographer Spam

At my personal email address I get all the standard spam, but at my wedding photography email I get wedding photography spam. Some of it is hilarious! This one I had the other day really tickled me for some reason, I almost wrote back, but I don't they would appreciate my humour:

New exciting website

Yes, since I will soon be a jet-setting international photographer I am moving over from www.sineadjenkins.co.uk (provincial) to www.sineadjenkins.com (glamourous, international). And with it, I will be showcasing my swanky new website. Here is a taster of my new design (same logo, same lovely green, just better!):

Max and some BLUE SKY!!!

I think I've spotted a patch of blue sky maybe twice in the whole of January. I crave blue sky in winter so I thought I would blog this so we could all have a look. Also, a couple of shots of Max looking very handsome.

Prith

I photographed Prith's son Ben a couple of months ago, and these are some shots Prith needed for her new business The Thinking Edge. Have a look if you are a business type - she offers some very interesting courses (actually I designed the website in my other life as a web designer, ahem). It is quite a creative business so we used a creative backdrop for these portraits:

Cymbient live session shoot

On Monday evening I photographed my friends Cymbient (a very cool Cardiff band) recording a live session at BBC for the radiowales evening show



The studio wasn't the most glamourous of places, so I did my best to make it look more rockstar. Here are the guys:

Happy new year!

I'm not a big one for new years resolutions so I haven't made any this year - it makes eating lots of tasty fatty food more pleasurable. However I am very excited about 2008 and here's why...

1) More weddings and portraits
2) Some very cool travel plans when we take off in April
3) Our big move to New Zealand and starting to build our dream house! (I'm going to post up the plans on this blog when we have them)
4) A brand new big, lovely website and some very flashy stuff to launch my business in NZ
5) Something very very exciting that will be happening mid-year (more on that soon...)
6) More photos of Max!!!
7) More very cool stuff to put on my blog
8) More fun in general

I'm so excited, the fact that I hate January is almost insignificant.

A winter walk

We went for a walk on the Garth today. It was windy but the light was great. Steven even let me take about 4 photos of him!!!
