Extra luggage
Just sorting through images on my harddrive and I found this one of Max at Christmas. I wish I could fit him in my bag and take him to New Zealand!

Dog in a coat
Yes I know, its wrong to put clothes on dogs, but listen, with all the rain we've been having in the UK and what with Max's long flowing fur, it makes sense for him to have a raincoat. I chose the most manly coat on offer in Petsmart, and it has practical features like a detatchable hood and adjustable waistband. As you can see, he love it.

Work it for the camera Max.

A day with Max
For those who don't know, Max used to be my nana's dog until just over a year ago, now my parents look after him and he stays with us on certain weekdays and weekends. This is a little photo story of how Max likes to spend his day: sleeping, walking, eating, chasing cats and squirrels and getting very excited about walking, eating and chasing cats/squirrels.
Dogs are so funny, I love that Gary Larson cartoon with the dog about to get fed and he's thinking "YES! Dog food again!" Max just about has a coronary every time you get his lead out of the drawer... three times a day.

Rainy days
Well, I've been cancelling photoshoots recently because of all this DARN rain! So I've been at home catching up on lots of design and photo work. But I like to think that there are thousands of faithful blog-readers out there waiting anxiously for me to post on my blog(
...yeah right Sinead..). Here is a photo of me working... reflected in a bauble (very seasonal) and a gratuitous photo of Max. I woke him up from a nap to take this photo, but he doesn't mind because he's so vain.

Max the dog
I took the opportunity of a walk with Max the dog today to try out my portrait & composition skills. Max is a great subject, he's good looking and patient.
Here he is relaxing in some leaves:

Always on the lookout though for stray squirrels and birds:

I think this is a bit of a Lassie shot:

A nice portrait:

Max loves to snuffle in the grass:

Chasing a bird:

What a cutey!

If you want a pet portrait session (!!!) then they cost the same as a human session - £65 and that includes 2 8x10 archival quality prints. I can't guarantee any pet will look as cute as Max does in these pics though...
