Claire's new kitten

My sister is an animal freak - if she had her way she would probably live in some kind of petting zoo for baby animals. So when her friend Claire hinted that she REALLY wanted a kitten, Roisin knew exactly what to get her for her birthday. A baby white and tortoiseshell cat! After weeks of deliberating and looking for the cuttest kitten around, we picked up 'Maisie' this weekend. Roisin was a bit nervous, but needn't have been - Claire was overwhelmed and over the moon with her new companion. I think the pink bow helped too.

But she soon settled down to enjoy the journey:





Um, yes, she is VERY cute! But what will Claire think....?



She was so surprised and obviously delighted - who can resist a gorgeous little kitten with a pink bow on??

Family portrait session

I photographed these beautiful children at their Gran's home so that we could capture them in a relaxed environment with their doting grandmother Larraine. Despite some initial misgivings about the strange lady with the camera (!) we ended up having a great time and managed to pop outside to pick apples when the rain stopped. Here are some of my favourites:

I made sure that I got lots with Larraine and her grandchildren. They obviously think she's great:




The key is sneaking up before they know you're there...
