Rachel & Dave's Wedding

Rachel and Dave got married in Fonmon Castle, and it was such an intimate, gorgeous wedding, people were laughing and crying all day. I think you can tell from these photos that Rachel and Dave are a) easy going, lovely people, and b) completely in love with eachother. Rachel wins the prize for the the most emotional walk up the aisle EVER... she cried the whole way! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house for the rest of the ceremony.

Here we are getting ready:

Here is the final result, stunning:

The guys:

I like this simple tie/waistcoat combo, quite dapper don't you think?

Here we go with the tears. Annoyingly, Rachel even looks beautiful when she's crying!

This one is just gorgeous:

During the meal a couple of people popped out to watch the rugby on a little TV. And Wales lost! (but we won't talk about that - I'm only putting this photo up so that Rachel knows who the culprits were...)

The speeches were soooo funny. Dave had 2 best men who had everyone in stitches. They printed off sheets of paper with funny 'Dave photos' on them that they told jokes along to.

The castle looks even better all lit up at night:

I had a great time at your wedding guys, enjoy your slideshow(!) and see you soon x

Helen and Family

I specialise in natural, unposed photographs of people, as it clearly states on my website, so I never would have agreed to photograph Helen's children if I knew what POSERS they are!!!! Ha ha! It was so funny - look at how Zoe arranged herself as soon as I got my camera out (thats a white sheet she's lying on by the way):

We had a play with the feather boa and all the little feathers:

And got loads of lovely portraits, once again I had trouble choosing for the blog. This is Zoe's brother Luke. Soooo cute:

And their cousin Matthew:

One of my favourites:

And another!!

I have a small obsession with feet:

Lush:

The whole gang.. Helen, Steve, Helen's parents Cynthia and Rossa, Matthew, Zoe and Luke:

Thanks guys, I had a really good time. Your gallery will be in a couple of days!

Ooooh, I photographed a gorgous wedding last week at Fonmon Castle, but I'm under strict instructions to post up photographs next week, when Rachel and Dave are back from honeymoon. This is what Fonmon Castle looks like (lush!!):

Happy Birthday Mum!

It's my mum's birthday today, happy birthday mum!! Everyone who knows my mum loves her, and with good reason.

Doesn't she look great?!

Here's the cake/s I made:

I love this one:

Mum is off to spend the weekend with her 4 sisters, most of whom are about twice as chatty as her so there won't be a moments silence. Have a good time mum! xx

Sharon and Family

I photographed Sharon and her sister Michelle's children in their garden, which was a child's paradise! They had a huge trampoline, a slide, swings, mini cars and bikes, a treehouse, a gorgeous wooden (two-storey!) playhouse, football goals, toys, little chairs and tables, a swingy chair etc. etc. etc. I was tempted to move in. The children were gorgeous, and full of happy energy - they didn't stop laughing the whole time I think. Sharon and Michelle find them hilarious, its great to see parents enjoying their kids so much.

Okay, I can't upload tons of photos to my blog because I'll run out of space, but I had a really hard time choosing these images out of the 160 or so that I finally edited down for their collection. I need to employ a hard-nosed editor...

First of all, here is Katie. I have never met a 6 year old so keen to have her photo taken, therefore I love her! (isn't she beautiful?)

We also photographed her shoes, which are lush!

Here is Katie's brother Nathan, soo cute, who was less keen for photographs (obviously, kids don't normally want to look at a camera at this age!) but happy as long as this plastic dragon thing was in the shot:

Their cousins William, looking very dapper here:

And Lucy, who was super excited and happiest when she was upside down or tearing around at 50 miles an hour!

Ha ha, here is a 'secret' photo we took when the grown-ups weren't looking:

We spent most of the time on the trampoline (yeeeey!) or generally playing:

The many faces of Katie:

These two are the best of friends, they're in the same class at school and do everything together:

How cute is this one?!!

Nathan is far too cool to hug a girl:

Don't these photos make you want to be 6 again??

Okay, I REALLY shouldn't put anymore up but here are some nice family shots:

Thanks for being so much fun guys, I will have your gallery up in a couple of days. Next time I want about half an hour by myself on the trampoline! x

Karen and Ellis's Wedding Album

Karen and Ellis chose a simple cream wedding album - the material is gorgeous, very soft like a cross between suede and leather, with brass corners. Here's a sneaky look inside:

For my wedding clients - these also come with plaques on the front depicting your initials or starsigns. And of course lots of different colours. Hm, decisions......
